VIDOL Encourages Public Participation in the Americans with Disabilities Act’s 31st Anniversary

Labor Commissioner congratulates Disability Rights Council of the Virgin Islands and ADA Coordinator for the first successful training.

V.I. Department of Labor(VIDOL) Commissioner, Gary Molloy, congratulates partners on the kick-off of Americans with Disabilities Act(ADA) 31st Anniversary. The Disabilities Rights Council of the Virgin Islands(DRCVI) in partnership with the Territorial ADA Coordinator hosted their first event of the month to help jobseekers, employers, and employees break-down barriers to employment.

Celebrate the 31st Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by joining us for our weekly trainings – providing information on employment rights for jobseekers with disabilities.
Topics will range from:

• Reasonable accommodations
• Remote working
• ASL interpreters will be available at every training.
• Additional information related to returning to work during the Pandemic
