VIDOL Continues Operations without In-Person Visits under Executive Order
In-Person Services will be postponed until the “soft shut-down” period concludes.
VI Department of Labor (VIDOL) Commissioner, Gary Molloy, reminds the public that as an essential agency, the VIDOL is not closed or shutdown and continues the day to day operations required to maintain benefits and services for those in need. The only operational change is the suspension of in-person lobby service for the next two weeks, per the Governor’s Executive Order.
The staff will continue to process applications and claims during this during period. Claimants are encouraged to call, email, and utilize the document drop box options. Additionally, claimants can utilize the Integrated Voice Response System (IVR) by calling 340-715-5744 and using their assigned PIN number to check on the status of their claim. The last mail out of benefit payments were made on November 24th and checks are mailed out weekly on or before the Friday of each week.
