The Office of Trade (OT) within Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is hiring MILITARY VETERANS with preference ONLY for Auditor positions (see below) in association with the upcoming exciting national hiring event in which veterans and transitioning service-members can be considered for non-competitive hiring outside of the usual USAJOSB.gov process using their veterans preference (i.e. 30% or More Disabled, Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA), and/or Schedule A hiring authorities). OT will be offering transitioning service-members within four months of separation from the military and veterans with preference the opportunity to be interviewed in association with (either in-person or virtually) the upcoming Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Women in Law Enforcement Event being held on June 26th & 27th, 2018 at the Arlington Convention Center located at 1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX 76011 for the following locations. Interested applicants are not required to be in-person for these interviews and can choose virtual interviews if they are unable to travel to this Arlington, Texas event.
