VIDOL Holding Timely Rapid Response Event for Workers Affected by Recent Pinnacle Services Lay-offs on May 20, 2022 from 3pm – 5pm at Pinnacle
VIDOL assisting affected workers with access to information and services.


USVIMay 19, 2022 – The Commissioner of Labor Gary Molloy announces that theV.I. Department of Labor (VIDOL) will host a Rapid Response Information Session for individuals recently impacted by the Pinnacle Services lay-off on Friday, May 20th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pinnacle Services facility. The V.I. Department of Labor provides the service available to assist both businesses and individuals under the Rapid Response Program. The vision of VIDOL is to administer a system of effective programs and services designed to develop, protect, and maintain a viable workforce.

Attendees will receive information regarding career services, filing for unemployment insurance, employment opportunities, training, and financial assistance. Representatives from VIDOL, including Workforce Development, Unemployment Insurance, Labor Relations, and Equus will be on-site and provide information on employment and support for dislocated workers to transition to new employment as soon as possible.

Rapid Response is authorized by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act at 134(a)(2)(A). The Rapid Response Regulations are found at 20 CFR 682.300.
