VIRGIN ISLANDS DIVISION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH (VIDOSH) SUPPORTS “SAFE AND SOUND WEEK”

USVIAugust 4, 2022 – Commissioner Gary Molloy announces that VIDOSH, led by Director Dean Andrews, and his Team are pleased to support Safe and Sound Week from August 15-21, 2022. This nationwide event raises awareness and understanding of the value of safety and health programs in the public sector workplace. The Safe + Sound Campaign encourages every workplace in the U.S. to have a safety and health program. Establishing a successful safety and health program can proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause illness or injury.

All departments and agencies are encouraged to sign up to participate in activities that promote management leadership, worker participation, and a systematic approach to finding and fixing hazards in the workplace.
