HOW TO APPLY FOR UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE BENEFITS

If you have been separated from your employer by no fault of your own, you may be eligible to receive benefits. Unemployment Insurance benefits are based on earned wages. To apply for these benefits you must do the following:

After successfully applying for unemployment insurance, you must complete the registration process with the Virgin Islands Electronic Workforce System (VIeWS). Registering with VIeWS empowers you to conduct job searches and take proactive steps towards re-entering the workforce.
STEP 3. ACTIVELY SEEK WORK
As recipients of unemployment insurance benefits, it is crucial to actively engage in the pursuit of full-time employment during this period.
